Georgia Tech’s Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM) is an interdisciplinary research unit at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The center was launched May 2006, and consists of researchers from the School of Interactive Computing in the College of Computing, College of Engineering, and Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI).

After the tour, we will stop at The Varsity for lunch before returning to the hotel. Originally named “The Yellow Jacket”, The Varsity was established in 1928 and is the largest drive-in fast food restaurant in the world. It is iconic in the modern culture of Atlanta, with jargon like "What’ll ya have… What’ll ya have?" There’s no friendlier greeting than the one you’ll receive when you step up to the counter at The Varsity.
